يسعى محمد الهجابي، بحضوره الكامل في كل تجربة رسم له، وفي كل حركة، إلى أن يشكل، وعلى نحو تلقائي، بعداً من الوعي أكثر عمقاً. ومن نافل القول إن الفنان حينما ينخرط في تفاعلات منظمة أثناء عملية الإبداع الفني، فإن نسيجاً من الحركات، ومن الموتيفات البصرية المتعالقة (المتحاورة)، بل وحتى من شبكية فوق موسيقية صوتية وإيقاعية، ومن بناء سمعي، تشكل بجماعها البعد الأدائي، ولحظة ترافع بامتياز. ثمة رسام صيني لاحظ ذات مرة أن صوت الفرشاة وحركة الحبر يغنيان ويرقصان معاً.

يعقل محمد الهجابي بعمق العلاقة بين الخطوط وإيقاع العلامات: أسطر مائعة، تصوير مائي دقيق، خطوط مليئة وسريعة، وعلامات كاليغرافية عنكبوتية. أعماله تستحضر القوة الروحية العميقة الثاوية في دوائر ضربات الفرشاة مما يخلق تمديدات وارتدادات في المساحة . محمد الهجابي يغوص عميقاً في الأصل المشترك للصباغة والكاليغرافيا. إنه تجريد مخصب بحساسية تضرب بجذورها في الماضي.

Born in Bucharest, educated in Rome, and now working in New York, Stefan Arteni is a painter, printmaker, calligrapher, and book artist, drawing from broad crosscurrents of culture and history.
In competitions organized by the Japan Calligraphic Art Academy
in Tokyo and the Japan Calligraphy Center in Los Angeles,
Stefan Arteni was awarded the Japan Foreign Affairs Minister's
Grand Prize for Calligraphy in 1996, the Silver Award for Kana
(linked writing) in 1999, the Consul General of Japan in Los Angeles
Grand Prize in 2002.
Arteni has extensively exhibited calligraphies and paintings throughout
Europe, the United States, and in Japan, Korea, China, and Taiwan..

By being fully present in every experience, in every gesture, Mohamed Elhajjabi attempts to compose spontaneously from a deeper dimension of consciousness. When the artist engages in the structured interactions of art-making, a matrix of gestures, visual patterns correlates, and even extramusical rhythmic sound texture as acoustic substructure, constitute the performative dimension, the moment of instantiation - a Chinese painter once remarked that the sound of the brush and the movement of ink sing and dance together.

Mohamed Elhajjabi deeply ponders the relationship between lines and the rhythm of the marks: fluid lines, delicate ink washes, quick, rough strokes, and spidery calligraphic marks. His works draw profound spiritual force from the turns of brushstrokes which create expansions and twists of space. Mohamed Elhajjabi delves deep into the common origin of painting and calligraphy. Abstraction is enriched by a sensibility rooted in the past.

En étant pleinement présent dans chaque expérience, dans chaque geste, Mohamed Elhajjabi tente de composer spontanément une dimension plus profonde de la conscience. Quand l'artiste s'engage dans les interactions structurées de la création artistique, une matrice de gestes, motifs visuels corrélation, et même extramusical texture sonore rythmique sous-structure acoustique, constituent la dimension performative, le moment de l'instanciation. Un peintre chinois a fait remarquer que le son de la brosse et le mouvement de l'encre chantent et dansent ensemble.

Mohamed Elhajjabi réfléchit profondément la relation entre les lignes et le rythme des marques: lignes fluides, lavis délicats, gros traits rapides, et les marques calligraphiques araignée. Ses œuvres puisent force spirituelle profonde des tours de coups de pinceau qui créent des expansions et des torsions de l'espace. Mohamed Elhajjabi plonge profondément dans l'origine commune de la peinture et de la calligraphie. Abstraction enrichie par une sensibilité ancrée dans le passé.
